About this product
Rugged Black is a deep black with a rough slate-like texture, so the panel absorbs light rather than reflecting it. It suits ventilated facades, plinths and base courses, soffits and interior walls where a stone reading is wanted without the weight of stone. The texture hides handling marks better than a smooth black and holds its depth across large elevations.
Each ALLPROBOND panel is built from a fire-resistant core between two sheets of 5005/3005 aluminium alloy, finished in PVDF fluorocarbon paint for resistance to UV, salt spray, acid, alkali and temperature swings. The viscoelastic resin core keeps the panel stiff and resistant to impact, and it can be slotted, bent, folded, punched, drilled, sawn, glued, riveted and bolted.
