About this product
Amber Travertine is a warm apricot-beige travertine with horizontal banding, open pores and a honed matt finish. The banding lines up across horizontally laid panels, which suits entrance walls, podiums and feature bays where the facade is seen close up. Laid vertically with an open joint, the same banding reads as a fine texture rather than a pattern.
The panel is extruded porcelain, single-fired, with an internal honeycomb structure that keeps it rigid at 32 kg/m2. It fixes to a ventilated substructure of vertical profiles and clamps. Water absorption is 0.5% or lower, reaction to fire is class A1, hardness is Mohs 5 to 7, and it is frost resistant and colourfast under UV. Stock formats are 40×80, 40×100 and 60×120 cm.
