About this product
Honey Sandstone is a soft honeyed beige sandstone with a gently mottled matt surface and faint darker mineral specks. The mottling is subtle enough for full elevations and reads as natural stone at close range, which suits entrances, terraces and hotel frontages. Panels can be laid horizontally or vertically on a ventilated facade with an open joint.
The panel is extruded porcelain, single-fired, with an internal honeycomb structure that keeps it rigid at 32 kg/m2. It fixes to a ventilated substructure of vertical profiles and clamps. Water absorption is 0.5% or lower, reaction to fire is class A1, hardness is Mohs 5 to 7, and it is frost resistant and colourfast under UV. Stock formats are 40×80, 40×100 and 60×120 cm, with lengths up to 300 cm.
