About this product
Midnight Marble is a deep black marble with bright white veining, fine silver speckle and a polished depth. The veins carry across the panel and set the composition, so it is usually specified for feature elevations, lobby walls, entrance surrounds and columns rather than whole facades. The polish holds colour and reflection under strong sun. Rain and neutral cleaners keep it clean, and the finish is colourfast under UV.
The panel is extruded porcelain, single-fired, with an internal honeycomb structure that keeps it rigid at 32 kg/m2. Water absorption is at or below 0.5%, reaction to fire class A1, hardness Mohs 5 to 7, frost resistant. It fixes to vertical profiles and clamps, laid horizontally or vertically with an open joint. Stock sizes 40×80, 40×100 and 60×120 cm; widths 30 to 60 cm, lengths to 300 cm, large formats 80×160 and 100×300 cm.
