About this product

Shell Marble is a warm off-white limestone with mottled cloudy patches, a smooth satin surface and faint grey shadowing. The warmth keeps a large elevation from looking cold, and the mottling breaks up flat light on south-facing walls, so it works well on hotel frontages, entrance walls and soffits on a ventilated facade. Rain and neutral cleaners keep it clean, and the colour holds under UV.

The panel is extruded porcelain, single-fired, with an internal honeycomb structure that keeps it rigid at 32 kg/m2. Water absorption is at or below 0.5%, reaction to fire class A1, hardness Mohs 5 to 7, frost resistant. It fixes to vertical profiles and clamps, laid horizontally or vertically with an open joint. Stock sizes 40×80, 40×100 and 60×120 cm; widths 30 to 60 cm, lengths to 300 cm, large formats 80×160 and 100×300 cm.
