Sandstone has a cream ground crossed by horizontal and vertical striations in ochre, rust and grey-green, like strokes from a dry brush. The design is light and bright, and suits a living room or an office furnished in pale wood.
On a ground this pale, a non-slip underlay stops the rug creeping. Movement rubs the fibre against the floor and greys the underside of the edges. Sold by the piece, for residential use.
