About this product
Chalk Snow is a bright off-white stone in a near-uniform tone, with a finely pitted powdery matt surface. The flat white reflects daylight and keeps deep elevations bright, so it suits courtyards, light wells, upper storeys and hotel frontages on a ventilated facade. The pitted surface takes the glare off the white and gives it depth in direct sun.
The panel is extruded porcelain, single-fired, with an internal honeycomb structure that keeps it rigid at 32 kg/m2. It fixes to a ventilated substructure of vertical profiles and clamps, horizontally or vertically with an open joint. Water absorption is 0.5% or lower, reaction to fire is class A1, hardness is Mohs 5 to 7, and it is frost resistant and colourfast under UV. Stock formats are 40×80, 40×100 and 60×120 cm.
