About this product
Custard Batten is a pale butter-cream porcelain with faint vertical brushing, clean and softly matt. Broad horizontal battens with thin bright reveal lines set a wide, calm rhythm that suits tall elevations and long street frontages, and reads clearly from across a courtyard or car park. The pale tone keeps sunlit walls from looking heavy.
The panel is single-fired extruded porcelain with an internal honeycomb structure, rigid at 32 kg/m2. It fixes to a ventilated substructure of vertical profiles and clamps, horizontally or vertically with an open joint, and the air gap behind cuts heating and cooling loads by up to 35%. Water absorption at or below 0.5%, frost resistant, class A1 reaction to fire, Mohs 5 to 7.
