About this product
Raw Poplar is a light honeyed cream wood with soft pale grain, tiny knots and a dry matt face. The quiet figure reads well at distance and close to, so it carries whole elevations as easily as balcony returns, soffits and screen walls. Laid horizontally or vertically with an open joint, the grain can run with or across the facade.
The panel is single-fired extruded porcelain with an internal honeycomb structure, rigid at 32 kg/m2. It fixes to a ventilated substructure of vertical profiles and clamps, and the air gap behind cuts heating and cooling loads by up to 35% while damping outside noise. Water absorption stays at or below 0.5%, frost resistant, class A1 reaction to fire, Mohs 5 to 7.
