About this product
Cacao Timber is a deep coffee-brown aged plank with a reddish undertone, splits, knots and a worn matt grain. The dark tone suits recessed bays, entrance surrounds and contrast bands against render or stone, and holds its character over full elevations where a weathered timber look is wanted. Laid horizontally or vertically with an open joint, the plank direction can follow the building lines.
The panel is single-fired extruded porcelain with an internal honeycomb structure, rigid at 32 kg/m2. It fixes to a ventilated substructure of vertical profiles and clamps, and the air gap behind cuts heating and cooling loads by up to 35% while damping outside noise. Water absorption stays at or below 0.5%, frost resistant, class A1 reaction to fire, Mohs 5 to 7.
