About this product
Salt Granite is a cool grey granite flecked with black, white and tan crystals over a fine-textured matt face. The flecking hides dirt and reads evenly from street level, which suits ground floors, plinths and full office elevations on a ventilated facade. It pairs with dark metalwork and clear glazing without competing for attention.
The panel is extruded porcelain, single-fired, with an internal honeycomb structure that keeps it rigid at 32 kg/m2. It fixes to a ventilated substructure of vertical profiles and clamps, horizontally or vertically with an open joint. Water absorption is 0.5% or lower, reaction to fire is class A1, hardness is Mohs 5 to 7, and it is frost resistant and colourfast under UV. Stock formats are 40×80, 40×100 and 60×120 cm.
