About this product
Toasted Sand is a mid tan-beige sandstone with diagonal caramel shading and a dense fine-grained matt surface. The deeper tone holds its own against glazing and metalwork, so it suits framed bays, entrance surrounds and full elevations on a ventilated facade. The diagonal shading varies panel to panel, which keeps large areas from looking flat.
The panel is extruded porcelain, single-fired, with an internal honeycomb structure that keeps it rigid at 32 kg/m2. It fixes to a ventilated substructure of vertical profiles and clamps, horizontally or vertically with an open joint. Water absorption is 0.5% or lower, reaction to fire is class A1, hardness is Mohs 5 to 7, and it is frost resistant and colourfast under UV. Stock formats are 40×80, 40×100 and 60×120 cm.
