About this product
Wheat Bisque is a pale wheat-cream sandstone with soft ochre clouding and a coarse sanded matt finish. The light tone keeps large elevations from reading heavy, and the clouding breaks up long runs of panels on a ventilated facade. It works across full facades, plinths and set-back upper storeys, laid horizontally or vertically with an open joint.
The panel is extruded porcelain, single-fired, with an internal honeycomb structure that keeps it rigid at 32 kg/m2. It fixes to a ventilated substructure of vertical profiles and clamps. Water absorption is 0.5% or lower, reaction to fire is class A1, hardness is Mohs 5 to 7, and it is frost resistant and colourfast under UV. Stock formats are 40×80, 40×100 and 60×120 cm, with widths from 30 to 60 cm and lengths up to 300 cm.
